That is why I have put together my top five tips to turn your health goals into real lifestyle changes.
#1 Don’t wait for Monday
Waiting for the next Monday causes you to miss so many opportunities. Each day you are given opportunities to take steps forward into reaching your goals. Start now. Start today.
#2 Set goals and write them down
Set goals for yourself and write them down. Keep them somewhere you can easily come back and see them. This will help remind you of what you are trying to accomplish. Not to mention that is very satisfying to check off a goal once you complete it. That can give more motivation to continue!
#3 Find Accountability
Having someone by your side makes a huge difference. When the going gets tough you need someone there to help/push you to continue. It is much more difficult to reach your goals when you are trying to do it all by yourself.
#4 Start slow
Don’t overwhelm yourself when you are starting out. Instead of changing every single thing in your life, start with 2-3 goals. Once you master that add in the next thing.
#5 Find your why
This is the most important tip. You have to figure out the true reason why you are wanting to make these changes and reach your goals. Without knowing the real reason you are doing it, it won’t last.
