I don’t know about you but I loooove a good soup when I’m not feeling my best. That’s why I came up with this immune boosting soup recipe. Like I always say, food is medicine. So why not support our body with different foods that help us fight off the infection. Each ingredient in this soup plays a key role in supporting our body’s immune system.
Ingredient Benefits
- Garlic- Antibacterial and anti-inflammatory
- Onion- Antibacterial
- Celery- high in vitamins A, C and K along with a ton of fiber
- Fiber is important to keep your gut running smoothly. Some toxins are excreted in our poop so it is important to go regularly!
- Carrots- high in vitamins A and C
- Turkey- packed with protein
- Bone Broth- contains vitamins and minerals stored in bones along with collagen
- If you are feeling sick, try sipping on warm bone broth. It is an easy way to get in tons of nutrients, protein and hydration.
- Leafy greens- full of fiber, vitamins, and antioxidants
- Antioxidants fight off free radicals (molecules that cause damge in our cells)
- Turmeric- my favorite anti-inflammatory ingredients available. Fun fact- combine with black pepper for optimal absorption
- Noodles- provides fiber and carbohydrates for energy
- Our body needs carbs for energy to fight off infection

Immune Boosting Soup
Each ingredient in this soup plays a key role in supporting our body's immune system.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Chopped onion
- 1/2 cup Chopped celery
- 3 cloves Chopped garlic
- 1 lbs Ground turkey May substitute for chicken or beef
- 4 Chopped carrots
- 2 jars Fond chicken bone broth May substitute any brand of broth. (about 30 ounces)
- 1 cup Water
- 1 box Ancient harvest noodles
- 1 tsp Turmeric
- Salt and pepper
- 3-4 cups kale May use any leafy green (kale, spinach, etc)
Instructions
- Saute onion, celery, and garlic until the onion is translucent. It should smell very fragrant.
- Add in ground turkey, salt, and pepper.
- Brown turkey until thoroughly cooked.
- Add carrots and sautee for 2-3 minutes.
- Add bone broth and water.
- Bring everything to a boil.
- Add noodles and kale. Stir everything together and bring back to a boil.
- Cover pot and turn the heat down to a simmer.
- Simmer for about 20 minutes. Noodles should be cooked through.
