Quick and Easy Stir Fry

One of my go to dinners is a quick and easy stir fry! You can use this as a base and customize the recipe to whatever you like or have in the fridge. The sauce is gluten and dairy free. So delious!
Prep Time 5 minutes
Cook Time 20 minutes
Total Time 25 minutes

Ingredients
  

Stir Fry Sauce

  • 1/4 cup gluten free soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 tbsp corn starch
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger *optional

Stir Fry Base

  • 1 lbs ground turkey
  • 1 cup uncooked rice *may use any type of rice
  • 1 cup chopped carrots
  • 2 cups brocoli

Rice

  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup rice

Instructions
 

Cook the Rice

  • Boil 2 cups of water in a pot.
  • Once boiling, add the rice and reduce to a simmer.
  • Cover and let cook about 15-20 minutes.
  • Turn of heat and fluff rice with a fork.

Stir Fry

  • Brown the ground turkey with a dash of olive oil in a pan.
  • Once the ground turkey is almost cooked completely, add the carrots and brocoli.
  • Cover the pan and stir occasionaly for about 5-10 mintues.
  • In a seperate bowl, mix together soy sauce, maple syrup, water, and cornstartch.
  • Once the ground turkey and veggies are cooked, turn the heat to low and stir in the sauce.
  • Continuously stir the mixture for 2-3 minutes to allow the sauce to thicken.
  • Serve stir fry over cooked rice.
